Recently completing the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai and standing on the podium, Seth Lucas is adding a second endurance race to his 2023 schedule. Set to join Ave Motorsports at the Mobil 1 – 12 Hours of Sebring over the March 15-18 week, Lucas will pilot the #4 Motul USA-backed Ligier alongside Tony Ave and a yet-to-be-confirmed driver.

“The more I can be behind the wheel the better, and I can’t wait to drive in the 12 Hours of Sebring,” explained Seth Lucas. “I will have the opportunity to complete a test in Sebring in February that will help get me up to speed, and I aim to take the knowledge and experience and transfer that to the race weekend and my second endurance race of the season.”

Already a podium winner in 2023 in Dubai, Lucas will try and continue that streak on home soil in March. With his first LMP3 experience planned for February 15 and 16 in a test at the Sebring International Raceway, Lucas will have a pair of days to get up to speed in his first prototype vehicle experience.

“Seth is a good young racer and the result that he has had in the past two seasons of competition proves this,” explained Tony Ave. “I am excited to share the seat and steering wheel with a pair of young guns and at the end of 12 hours hopefully, we can celebrate on the top step of the podium.”

Lucas continued, “I am thankful to Motul USA and Ave Motorsports for the opportunity. I am learning every chance I can get and feel this will be a huge advantage for me in the future.”
