With the heart of the motorsports season now upon us, Seth Lucas and his Hattori Motorsports USA outfit will compete in back-to-back weekends in two different series. With the primary focus this coming weekend, Lucas will co-drive with Matt Plumb in the Pirelli GT4 America program at the famed VIRginia International Raceway (VIR).
“We have had a couple good events and have shown improvement from round-to-round,” expressed Lucas. “As we continue to roll on, we continue to achieve and reset our goals. Going into VIR this weekend, we are continuing to keep the badge of the top Toyota in class, continue our top-ten results, and aim for a top-five finish in the end. It is never easy in motorsports, but we have the team to achieve that.”
Hitting the track on Wednesday and Thursday for practice, Seth Lucas will have two additional days of testing prior to the official event weekend.
Lucas continued, “We have the luxury of a pair or test days on Wednesday and Thursday, so I will use them to get to know the track. It will be key to use the two practice sessions on Friday to fine tune our Motul USA branded Toyota. I’m looking forward to working and competing alongside Matt Plumb again as I think we can turn some more heads this weekend.”
With practice on Friday, qualifying will take place on Saturday morning with the first wheel-to-wheel race that afternoon. The second race of the weekend and sixth in the Pirelli GT4 America program will roll off the grid Sunday.
