With a podium in his Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS debut weekend, Seth Lucas is looking for more during rounds three and four of 2023. Taking on the NOLA Motorsports Park just outside of New Orleans, Lucas will join Trenton Estep in the Motul USA-backed MDK Motorsports Porsche as they hunt for their first victory of the season.
“Sonoma was a great way to start the season as we started with a P4 result on Saturday, and improved Sunday to stand on the podium in third,” explained Seth Lucas. “We learned a lot in the first race, and that knowledge will help us this weekend. Personally, I now know what to expect with the series, as it was my first career event in the World Challenge program.”
Currently fourth in the Pro Class championship standings, a mere one point from the third position, Lucas and Estep will aim to go big this weekend. With the 2.748-mile road course, the next challenge for MDK Motorsports, the driving duo will hit the track Thursday for a pair of test sessions that lead into the double race weekend. Friday will be the home of practice one and two before Saturday will yield to qualifying for both drivers and the first wheel-to-wheel action of the weekend with race two Sunday afternoon.
Lucas added, “We are ready. The team is ready. The goal is simple and if we can build on what we learned in Sonoma and put that to good use, we should be able to better our results and earn two more podium results at NOLA.”

Seth Lucas would like to thank MDK Motorsports, Motul USA, and Porsche for their continued support as we continue the 2023 season.
