SETH LUCAS READY FOR NOLA MOTORSPORTS PARK

With the opening round of the Pirelli GT4 America program now in the rearview mirror, Hattori Motorsports and Motul USA backed driver Seth Lucas is looking forward to this weekend. Scheduled to take place at the new Ozarks Internationals Raceway, the event was moved to NOLA Motorsports Park just outside of New Orleans as Lucas will look to better his first top-ten result of the season in his first trip to the flat and fast Louisiana facility.

“I have never been to NOLA before, and I am not sure the GT4 program has either so it could provide and equal and level playing field for all drivers,” expressed Lucas. “As a new driver and team in the series, I am always learning and if other drivers and teams have to learn something new at the same time, it is definitely an advantage for us.”

Co-driving with Matt Plumb, Lucas has his sights set high after a positive race at Sonoma Raceway. As the fastest Toyota in class all weekend long, the Motul USA #016 entry of Plumb and Lucas earned a tenth-place result on Sunday to close their first weekend of working together on a positive note and build some momentum towards the future.

Lucas continued, “We left the weekend with our best run as we improved throughout the event. It will be key to keep that positivity going in the right direction, and I would like nothing more than to earn a top-five finish or even fight for the podium this weekend.”

Seth Lucas and Hattori Motorsports will hit the track on Thursday for a pair of series test sessions prior to a pair of practice sessions on Friday. Saturday will be the home to qualifying and race one while the second wheel-to-wheel action of the weekend will take place on Sunday.
