After a podium result at the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai, Seth Lucas is set for his second endurance race of the season. Taking on the Mobil 1 – 12 Hours of Sebring with Ave Motorsports, Lucas will pilot the #4 Motul USA-backed Ligier this weekend in the LMP3 class at the Sebring International Raceway.
“I can’t wait to get into a race weekend in the LMP3 machine,” expressed Seth Lucas. “We had several great test days, and I feel ready and confident heading into the weekend. It will be my first endurance race in North America this season, but feel we have a great opportunity to earn the class win.”
Behind the wheel of LMP3 machinery late in 2022 at Road America and just a few weeks ago at the Sebring International Raceway, the young Seth Lucas is quickly becoming a driver to watch throughout 2023 and beyond.
Lucas added, “I have had the opportunity to sample a lot of equipment over the past two years as I continue to expand my knowledge and gain experience. After sprint races and 24-hour endurance races, this will be my first 12-hour event and I could not be happier to share the seat at Ave Motorsports.”
With a jam-packed week ahead, Lucas will hit the track Thursday for a trio of practice sessions before a final practice session Friday morning and qualifying Friday afternoon. The Mobil 1 – 12 Hours of Sebring will take the green flag at 10:10am Eastern time and conclude at 10:10pm. All the race action can be seen live at www.IMSA.TV
