SETH LUCAS TAKES MOMENTUM TO ROAD AMERICA

After a pair of race wins at the Watkins Glen International Raceway, Seth Lucas and Hattori Motorsports are off to Road America this weekend. Taking on the picturesque 4.048-mile Elkhart Lake facility in the GT America program, Lucas will look to take his Motul USA branded Toyota to the top step of the podium and continue his winning streak.

“Watkins Glen was a great debut for us in GT America, and I look forward to carrying that momentum into Road America,” explains Seth Lucas. “We had a great test there a few weeks ago so I am confident heading into the race and think we can be on the podium in both races.”

Making the switch from the dual-driver Pirelli GT4 America program to the single-driver GT America series, the goal would be to increase track time and green flag racing.

Lucas continued, “I think being in the car more allowed me to get into a rhythm. It helped me gain confidence and that resulted in a pair of wins. It was huge for myself, Motul USA, Toyota, and Hattori Motorsports to have some success. I am hungry for more this weekend.”

Lucas will hit the track on Friday for a pair of practice sessions prior to qualifying on Saturday morning. The first wheel-to-wheel race of the weekend will take place Saturday afternoon with race two on Sunday.
